NSO Calendar
General Schedule
Anyone who desires to become a full-time staff member with Cru is expected and required to attend New Staff Orientation in its entirety and to fully participate in the entire program/curriculum.
If you are married and both husband and wife are joining staff with Cru, it is important and strategic for both to attend and participate in all the sessions.
Please note that the above 9-day schedule (10 days if you are joining with the Campus Ministry) is the general schedule for all orientations regardless of when you join. NSO will begin on a Friday and will end with a commissioning ceremony on the following Saturday evening.
New Staff Orientation
A 9-10 day orientation to onboard you to Cru and get you started on Ministry Partner Development.
Institute of Biblical Studies
Institute of Biblical Studies (IBS) provides foundational theological training that equips new Cru staff to understand Scripture, strengthen their ministry skills, and develop a lifelong framework for serving Christ effectively.
Ministry Partner Development
You will complete a six-week dynamic biblical stewardship course and also attend a retreat for community & encouragement in your MPD journey.
MPD Post-NSO Events
You will complete a six-week dynamic biblical stewardship course and also attend a retreat for community & encouragement in your MPD journey.
Transitions Conference
Transitions are for people who served as International Interns. It's designed to help you transition back to life in the US.
